Reviews and Ratings
I felt like a VIP staying at this hotel! The breathtaking fjord views from the balcony, enormous sitting room, and spectacular bathroom with plexiglass windows made my stay unforgettable. But, be ready to splurge a bit as the room rates are on the higher side.
My stay at the hotel was like stepping back in time to the 80s, with nice and clean rooms but lacking a bit in modern charm. The impressive breakfast with a harpist was a unique touch, and the surrounding fruit farms added to the relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel's location is spectacular, providing easy access for all guests to enjoy the view of the fjord, even allowing for a quick plunge on a nice day. The rooms, although lacking tea making facilities and views of the fjord, are comfortable and clean, featuring a lovely balcony. The impressive breakfast with a live harpist adds a special touch to the experience.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were fabulous, offering a wonderful 80s vibe, and the breakfast with a harpist playing was a true highlight. The service was a bit hit or miss at times, with some confusion, but the location was simply unparalleled with picturesque views of the fjord. The dining experience, although with some hiccups, still managed to serve some delicious locally caught fish.
The hotel offers a unique outdoor lap pool with a stunning fjord view, although some rooms overlook a tour bus parking lot with mountains in the background. The service provided by the fantastic staff, especially at night under the stars with the fjord background, was consistently welcoming and helpful. The location, while facing the roadway side, was still amazing and fancy with heated pool-side beds and close proximity to the Hardinger Fjord cruise route. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a confusing start but ultimately offering amazing options. Overall, a memorable stay with some minor drawbacks.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were massive, with a huge bedroom and sitting room, and a spectacular bathroom featuring plexiglass windows for a view of the fjord. Although my room faced the roadway side, the hotel's stunning location was accessible to all guests, allowing for moments to relax outside and enjoy the gorgeous views, even potentially taking a quick dip in the fjord.
